Trained Personal & Family Protection Dogs for Sale

Protection Dogs Worldwide is based in the UK, and has successfully established an internationally respected personal protection dog dealership with operations in Europe, Africa, the Americas, Asia, and the Middle East. Our personal protection dogs for sale are in demand across the world, and our clients range from royalty and diplomats to high net-worth individuals. Our success is the product of years of hard work in training the ultimate family protection dogs. We take the very simple approach that we could never sell a dog we would not place with our own children and families, and work back from there.

Our family protection dogs are uniquely able to switch between being a pet and guardian, making them highly sought after. It is rare that one dog is so comfortable in family settings, especially with children, and protecting them with the intensity of a police or military working dog. We understand the important of protection dogs being able to live and thrive in home environments, and refuse to sell working or sports line dogs unless they demonstrate an ability to exist as a pet too. We also make no pretences that sports dogs make good family protection dogs when this is patently not the case.

Before any dog goes on sale, it must be carefully assessed to ensure that it demonstrates the proper attributes and characteristics we require for family protection work. These include, but are not limited to intelligence, trainability, work drive, courage, and above all temperamental stability. We have no place for dogs that demonstrate unreliability, anxious tendencies, and unwanted aggression. We have to be able to trust any of our dogs with our own family as well as that of a potential client, so this is not an area we can ever take shortcuts in. If our international procurement trips result in us only bringing a handful of puppies back to our UK training facility, then that is perfectly acceptable as it will mean we have chosen quality over quantity.

While an individual dog’s characteristics and personality matters more than its breed, we have found that certain breeds are more suitable than others for family protection work. In our experience, German Shepherd Dogs, Dobermanns, Rottweilers, Cane Corsos, and Giant Schnauzers are best. These breeds have retained an ability to work, but can still act and be enjoyed as family pets. Other breeds such as the Belgian Shepherd (Malinois), Dutch Shepherd, and Presa Canario may be popular, but they tend to lack the characteristics we look for, and if they do have them are harder to train.

Training world-class family protection dogs may not be easy, but we feel that our products speak for themselves. We invite you to look at our competitors, but are confident that we have the best offering. If you have any questions, please reach out to us via email or on any of our social media accounts.
