Being based in Portugal, it would have been very easy for me to have found a continental dealer when I decided that I wanted a personal protection dog. Having said that, Protection Dogs Worldwide in the UK was an obvious choice because of their excellent reputation. Leedor and his team are particularly skilled in developing personal protection dogs who are suited to living in home environments and my Yara has not disappointed. From first contact to today, my experience with them has been excellent. Moving dogs from the UK to Portugal is no small undertaking but this was no trouble at all for Leedor. I highly recommend him and his company.

Orca has been a pleasure, and is as much of a friend to our children as she is a guardian. It’s hard to find dogs which are protective and suitable for young families, but Leedor and his team consistently produce outstanding family protection dogs. I think its difficult to find a calibre of a dog and a company that delivers what they promised its better than I expected and I would say it was flawless having the team come out to our house, to introduce us to Rocco and make us feel comfortable with Rocco & Rocco with us, to then also introduce Rocco to our two daughters and our chihuahua, way better than we expected or anticipated and we’re very happy with the service. Afina is a dream dog. Affectionate but protective, she is totally reliable with a most wonderful personality. Leedor finds the best dogs in the world then trains them to the highest standard possible. He is always happy to answer any questions I have and provides excellent aftercare and support.

Looking for a good protection dog, isn’t as easy as it sounds. There are many companies out there that offer “protection dogs” and claim to deliver a perfect and stable animal… well at least on their websites.

For us it was very important to find someone, whom we could really trust. Right after the first positive contact through some emails, we flew over to England (as we are living in Germany) to see the dogs, Leedor, his team and the whole environment. We directly saw the good conditions. Leedor spend the day with us and showed us everything we asked for.

We really liked the way, how they were working the dogs and quickly got the impression that these guys really love each dog. We met all the different breeds and were able to see the differences within their nature. We were looking for a calmer dog, which is very good socialized, as we have got two dogs already. We saw some Cane Corsos, Dobermans and Shepards. We fell for Roman (Cane Corso) as he was really calm and we felt a good connection towards him. Leedor confirmed that he would be an ideal match to our current dogs and he was just right.

A few months later Matt delivered us Roman and we had no problems introducing him into his new family. He is such a gentle giant and we are happy to see that we made the right decision. Leedor and Matt are always reachable and get back to us very quickly if we have had any problem or questions. I love the training session videos that we’ve received. That helped us to keep up working with him, before Leedor and Matt returned for personal training.

Milano has been everything we wanted – and more – in our family protection dog. Obedient and friendly but alert and protective when needed, he is wonderful. Team PDW were helpful throughout and experts in training this kind of dog. Leedor definitely has the best protection dogs for sale in Europe.

After a terrible burglary we knew we had to up our security measures, we thought about security personnel, close protection etc. But end of the day came to the conclusion that a human can always be bribed. Then we started looking at protection dogs, spent days researching who is the best blah blah. Then ended up finding PDW, went over to see Lee and was blown away by both his set up and what the dogs are capable of. No body is getting anywhere near our property now with 2 dogs from PDW, you cant bribe our Bento.

The after sale service is amazing, we class Lee as a friend now. Will always be using Lee for everything dog related going forward.

All other companies we visited seemed clueless and all businessy where as Lee is all about the dogs and getting the most out of them and most importantly you can feel safe knowing your dog will get on with all of the family including children.
